THE BEGINNING
Danny and Diann Poffenberger sold everything they had to open the doors of their very own meat market in 1981. They started small and focused on building a business around prayer, honesty, quality customer service, quality products, and having a clean store.
Bellville Meat Market would not be all that it is today if it were not for Poffenberger's commitment to creating a meat market that stood out from the rest.

Danny passed the torch to his sons, Jerrod and Marcus Poffenberger knowing they would keep the legacy alive. Under their leadership, Bellville Meat Market has expanded into more than just a meat market, but an experience people come from all over the world to be a part of.
These two have continued to uphold the values instilled by their parents, prioritizing quality, top notch customer service, and a personal touch in everything they do.
Despite the advancements and major growth, Jerrod and Marcus have maintained a small-town-personal-touch inside of the store that makes everybody feel like somebody when they walk into our building.
Their commitment to remaining true to who they are has gained them a loyal following that we like to call our BMM family. The growth is humbling and the love people share for our meat market is inspiring.
